Join ASIC as a Learning Adviser in this dynamic role where you'll play a hands‑on role in building the capability of our workforce - supporting new starters, enabling development and bringing learning initiatives to life.

  • Location – Sydney or Melbourne
  • Salary starting from $97,401 (depending on experience) plus 15.4% superannuation
  • Permanent, full‑time role

The team

People & Culture (P&C) is responsible for delivering people initiatives that are aligned with business strategy across the full employee lifecycle. The team delivers robust people strategies and services that support leaders and employees during their careers with ASIC.

The role

As a Learning Adviser, you will support the delivery of ASIC's learning and development programs by coordinating key initiatives such as corporate induction, mentoring and professional development activities. You will facilitate engaging learning sessions, respond to employee queries, and maintain accurate learning records and reporting to support data‑informed decisions. Working closely with Learning Partners, internal stakeholders, and external providers, you will contribute to the effective delivery of learning solutions nationwide while identifying opportunities to improve processes and uplift capability across the organisation.

You Will Be Accountable For
  • Managing and administering key learning programs, including ASIC Ascend (corporate induction), internal and external mentoring, Executive Assistant development, emergency management and first aid, and Performance Development Plans.
  • Maintaining learning records and produce reporting and insights for P&C, including attendance, evaluation and Performance Development Plan reporting.
  • Providing learner and employee data analysis and reports using Excel.
  • Responding to employee enquiries.
  • Facilitating and supporting learning events both virtually and in person.
  • Supporting Learning Partners to deliver learning solutions, including workshop facilitation and development of learning resources including eLearning courses.
  • Undertaking procurement for the learning team.
  • Representing learning and engagement of stakeholders including external vendors and education providers.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver learning solutions nationally.
  • Management of ASIC's Sydney based training room.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Bring
  • Minimum qualification Cert IV Training & Assessment
  • Experience coordinating learning programs and managing projects end‑to‑end.
  • Confident facilitator across virtual and face‑to‑face environments.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience developing eLearning courses (Articulate 360 Storyline/Rise) and other learning artefacts.
  • Sound understanding of contemporary learning principles and emerging trends.
