Job summary

mycar is seeking a Hands-on Leading Hand Mechanic in Sydney to work on the tools and guide a small workshop team. You will support the Store Manager with efficient workflow, allocate jobs, and ensure quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a Certificate 3 in Automotive Technician (Light), a valid Australian driver's licence, and availability to work every second Saturday. Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Position Overview

A hands‑on role, where you'll be on the tools as well as a providing direction to a small team. As a Leading Hand Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled mechanics while assisting the Store Manager with efficient workflow and job allocation through the workshop.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience within the automotive industry, particularly senior technicians or supervisors.
