Job description
Leadership Development - Senior Account & Business Development

We are passionate about developing better leaders and teams across all sectors and organisational levels.

Our people bring diverse expertise in leadership, academia, consulting, and executive coaching. With a strong emphasis on culture, combining high performance with having fun, people love working here and share a common purpose: creating better leaders and, ultimately, a better world.

Our ambition is bold: to develop 10,000 leaders a year by 2028. Supporting a large network of consultants, our core team is tight-knit and operates with a flat structure. This means everyone contributes to designing the best ways of working and delivering outstanding outcomes.

To achieve this, we partner with incredible organisations across Australia and leverage our own digital platform (Able) to deliver scalable, impactful leadership development.

We've been doing this for 22 years. We've worked with 500+ organisations and developed 15,000+ leaders.

We work with major WA government departments, ASX-listed resources companies, national healthcare providers, and defence contractors. Our sectors span government (national, state, local), commercial (mining & resources, defence, construction, technology, professional services, manufacturing), and care professions (healthcare, aged care, disability services).

We design bespoke leadership programs delivered by coaching, workshops and training using a suite of diagnostic tools, to make lasting change. Our work has been recognised with an AITD Excellence Award (2023) and EFMD Excellence in Practice Silver (2024).

We work with 120+ brilliant partners across Australia (coaches, facilitators and consultants) who deliver our programs, many of whom have had significant leadership roles.

Our client retention is 95%. We keep clients because the work actually does what we say it will do.

We love working with open-minded and hard-working people who share our values (visit www.integral.global).

About the Role

Our Head of Sales is moving to semi-retirement, leaving a portfolio worth $400-500k in annual revenue. These are clients who already trust us. The right person will grow into these relationships while proving themselves with new business.

On-Target Earnings for this role: ~$200k (base $130-160 k depending on experience, plus uncapped commission).

Year one is about opening new doors: major enterprise clients, sales cycles of 6-12 months, deals over $100k, navigating government and corporate procurement. As you build trust (with us and with clients), you'll take on more of the existing book. The role shifts toward owning a portfolio of relationships, growing accounts where deals close in weeks, rather than months.

We look for someone who builds relationships worth keeping.

This role has a clear path to leadership in our sales function. If you want to build something, not just hit quota and move on, this is that opportunity.

Candidates must hold valid Australian work rights at the time of application.

About You

You've closed complex enterprise deals over $100k. You understand that selling to government is different from selling to commercial organisations, and you've done both. You can write a proposal that wins, and navigate a tender process without needing your hand held.

You’ve got a background in Leadership Development or leadership consulting/training - with expertise that extends beyond having had leadership experience yourself.

You care about what you sell. Our 95% client retention and industry recognition exist because our programs actually change how people lead. If you're tired of pushing products you don't believe in, here’s something that actually matters.

You're curious about what makes leadership development programs effective, and can work with others to develop the best proposal for a client. The best BD people in this industry understand their clients' worlds deeply, and become a trusted adviser to them.

Efficiency and process improvements come naturally to you and you embrace new ways of working for yourself and for the business.

You're in Perth, and well connected across various industries here.

Benefits and Perks

Flexible working arrangements, fostering a balance between professional achievement and personal wellbeing.

A team that combines high performance with actually enjoying the work.

The chance to help us hit 10,000 leaders by 2028. That number isn't marketing fluff. It's how we measure whether we're making a difference.

Access to best practice professional development opportunities (it’s what we do, after all!)

Please apply with a cover letter explaining why you are the right candidate for this role.

Your application will include the following questions:

  • Do you have experience preparing and submitting tenders?
  • Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
  • How many years' experience do you have in a training & development role?
  • How many years' experience do you have as a Leadership Development Role?
