Ceduna Area School in Ceduna is seeking a Year 7–10 Teaching & Learning Coordinator at Leader Band B-1 to oversee high-quality teaching, learning and assessment aligned with the Australian Curriculum. The role collaborates with school leaders to identify development needs and uses data to drive Site Improvement Plan implementation.

The position is a full-time equivalent (1.0) and runs from 22/01/2027 to 26/01/2028, with a salary of $133,736 per annum FTE under Teacher Conditions.

Position No: 2027-0734-LB1-M1-0-2 Applications Close: 15/09/2026 11:30PM Position Descriptor: Ceduna Area School is situated on the Thevenard Peninsula overlooking Murat Bay. Ceduna enjoys access to fantastic beaches for camping, fishing and surfing. The town has two supermarkets that receive regular fresh supplies and shopping precinct that boasts stores that sell sporting, electrical & clothing goods. The town has a well-resourced, large rural medical practice and hospital. Medical supplies are available from the two chemists. There are a number of different sports on offer through the of sporting organisations in Ceduna. The school caters for reception to year 12 students from within Ceduna and neighbouring towns. The Years 7-10 Teaching & Learning Coordinator will provide support to members of the secondary section to ensure that high quality teaching, learning and assessment strategies are in place for all 7-10 students inline with the Australian Curriculum. The position will work with leaders to ascertain training and development needs and data to support decision making to ensure the effective implementation of the Site Improvement Plan.
