Zusammenfassung

MMG Dugald River is seeking an experienced Lead Surveyor to join our Technical Services team on an 8/6 roster. This site-based role offers Bus-in Bus-Out from Cloncurry or Mount Isa, or Fly-In Fly-Out from Townsville or Brisbane.

Responsibilities include coordinating underground survey tasks, supervising a small team, performing data quality checks, and delivering timely spatial data to operations and planning. Proficiency with Leica TS16, void scanning, and Deswik is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in underground mine surveying.
• Proficiency with Leica TS16 Total Station or similar equipment.
• Experience with void scanning technologies such as Hovermap.
• Competency in spatial data management software (Deswik preferred).
• RePL and RPA operation experience desirable but not essential.
• Manual driver’s licence required.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and execute daily survey tasks to site standards, including underground development as-builts and set-outs, production mark-ups, void scans, survey control maintenance, and surface stockpile volumetrics.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of surveyors, assigning tasks based on skills, providing guidance, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work delivery.
• Perform quality reviews of fieldwork and data to maintain accuracy, integrity, and compliance with site procedures and internal standards.
• Provide timely spatial data, reports, and survey instructions to stakeholders, including operations, planning, and geology teams.
