Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd is seeking a Light Vehicle Fitter to join the underground maintenance team at Plutonic. You will lead the LV team, perform preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance on underground and surface fleets, with emphasis on Toyota vehicles, diagnostics and safety.

The role operates on a rotating roster with day and night shifts, in a large workshop environment and promises training and career progression with an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Recognised Australian Trade Certificate.
• Toyota inspection/diagnostic skills and training.
• Proven mine site experience in an underground environment.
• Experience on Toyota Landcruiser V8 and V6 vehicles.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of underground maintenance systems and procedures.
• Commitment to Health & Safety.
• Able to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Light Vehicle maintenance team for underground and surface fleets.
• Provide preventative, planned and breakdown maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure quality workmanship and timely service delivery.
• Collaborate with maintenance foreman to optimise rosters and efficiency.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and incident reporting.
