Job summary

Endeavour Primary Academy is seeking an experienced teacher to join our ambitious SEND Unit, leading the Resource Base alongside a teaching commitment. The role includes developing two classrooms as part of the 24-place provision and working with the SENDCo and external partners to deliver high-quality, inclusive education for pupils with ASD and SLCN.

The postholder will lead teaching and learning, with dedicated non-contact leadership time and opportunities to shape pedagogy across the unit

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex SEND, particularly ASD and/or SLCN.
• Ability to lead teaching, learning and curriculum across a Resource Base.
• Commitment to inclusion and removing barriers for every child.

Responsibilities

• Lead teaching, learning and curriculum provision across the Resource Base.
• Provide dedicated leadership time to fulfil additional responsibilities alongside a teaching role.
• Work with SENDCo, families and external professionals to ensure ambitious, personalised education.
