Lead Structural Supervisor – WA Desalination Project

Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering a landmark WA water infrastructure project. The Structural Supervisor oversees structural construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors, coordinating resources, and ensuring work complies with drawings and standards.

The role partners with project engineers and site leadership to maintain WHS and quality standards, address constructability issues, and keep progress on schedule.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Construction Supervision or equivalent required/desirable
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a construction/engineering environment, including Foreman or Supervisor roles
• Proven experience delivering structural works on Tier 1 projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and adapt to changing site conditions, with safety, quality and environmental focus

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate daily work fronts for mechanical crews
• Coordinate labour, plant and materials across the site
• Review drawings, method statements and work packs
• Monitor progress against schedule and resolve site issues
• Enforce safety procedures, permits and isolations
• Inspect completed works and manage punch items
• Report progress, risks and resource needs to the Project Manager
