Qualifications

• Hands-on structural engineering design and analysis.
• Knowledge of structural engineering principles including finite element analysis.
• Experience delivering structural analysis for major transport infrastructure.
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, precast, and geotechnical structures.
• Independent technical reviews and design checks for complex assets.
• Value engineering and constructability improvements.
• Reviewing calculations, reinforcement detailing, and drawings for quality.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards and international codes.
• Experience with structural analysis software for steel, concrete and composite.
• Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects (c. AUD $200m+).
• Rail design and construction engineering experience.
• Project management on major infrastructure, energy or industry projects.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and lead assignments in Australia and overseas.
• Undertake structural design and analysis across a broad range of structural types.
• Deliver engineering reports to managers and clients.
• Assist in the management of the design process with related disciplines/teams.
• Coordinate design with internal teams and external professionals.
• Develop and maintain high technical capability to deliver services.
• Monitor staff time and budgets against assignment programme.
• Adopt standardisation and peer review procedures for consistency.
• Uphold Health & Safety and Environment policies across activities.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested.
