Job summary

PROTECH is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead to join our Brisbane team, delivering governance across major construction and infrastructure projects. You will lead planning, scheduling and reporting to ensure cost, schedule and productivity targets are clearly tracked, forecast accurately and communicated to stakeholders.

You will develop best-practice project controls processes, manage integrated schedules with Primavera P6, and mentor site teams to improve performance and project

Qualifications

• Advanced Primavera P6 experience required.
• Strong scheduling, planning and project controls capability.
• Experience managing project controls on major construction/infrastructure projects.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Understanding of cost control, EVM, WBS, progress measurement, resource planning, KPI reporting, forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish project controls frameworks, governance processes and reporting standards.
• Monitor project performance against schedule, cost and productivity targets.
• Develop and maintain progress measurement systems.
• Prepare and present project performance reports, forecasts and critical path analysis.
• Drive Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies and reporting.
• Support resource planning and workforce forecasting activities.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders regarding project controls performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across project controls systems and processes.
