Job summary

ACOR is seeking a Senior Principal Structural Engineer in Brisbane to lead and grow the Queensland Structural team. This pivotal leadership role focuses on strengthening client relationships, securing new business, and providing technical and commercial leadership across diverse projects.

You will mentor engineers, foster a collaborative culture, and work with national leaders to expand ACOR's market presence in Queensland.

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering with Chartered status preferred.
Established Queensland market reputation and networks across Health, Defence, Government and major commercial development sectors.
Proven success winning work and delivering commercially successful projects.
Experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow Queensland Structural team, driving capability, performance and engagement.
Build and strengthen strategic client relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Provide technical and commercial leadership across complex structural engineering projects.
Mentor and develop the next generation of structural engineers while fostering a collaborative team culture.
Contribute to the strategic growth of the Queensland business and work closely with national leaders to expand ACOR's market presence.
