Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment, on behalf of a regional health service, seeks a Physiotherapy Team Leader on a 12-month parental leave contract commencing January 2027. The role blends advanced clinical practice with leadership, mentoring and service development in a regional setting.

You will lead clinical governance, professional development and model of care improvements while collaborating with two other senior physiotherapists to strengthen frontline practice across the service.

Qualifications

• Senior physiotherapist with leadership, mentoring and service development experience.
• Experience in clinical governance, professional development and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Providing complex clinical physiotherapy assessment, intervention and consultancy services.
• Offering clinical leadership, supervision and mentoring to physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants.
• Supporting clinical education, workforce development and evidence-based practice.
• Contributing to quality improvement, clinical safety and service development initiatives.
• Collaborating with allied health colleagues, managers and stakeholders to improve service delivery.
• Supporting the ongoing development of physiotherapy services across the region.
• Lead role in clinical governance and service improvement across the regional health service.
