Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain high standards of legal administrative support with robust procedures and output quality oversight.
• Assist the Practice Manager with performance reports and KPI monitoring.
• Coordinate administrative tasks for legal practitioners and allocate work to Legal Support Officers.
• Supervise and lead Legal Support Officers, including attendance, performance, and leave planning.
• Maintain accurate records for criminal prosecutions, briefs of evidence, witness lists, exhibits, and documentation.
• Use video editing software to edit and redact digital exhibits for court presentations.
• Support practitioners during witness and victim conferences with accurate file notes and statements.
• Appear in court as instructing clerk or listings officer to provide prosecution information.
• Prepare detailed sitting reports documenting court proceedings.
