Job summary

Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney seeks a Legal Informatics Manager to lead electronic discovery, document management, data rooms and analytics for high‑profile matters. You will oversee Relativity workflows, AI‑assisted review tools and data processing to deliver accurate, defensible results.

The role requires strong leadership, project management and stakeholder communication, plus experience supervising technical staff and developing workflows.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience on large scale eDiscovery or legal technology matters.
• Strong understanding of the eDiscovery process, defensible workflows, QA and matter requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to lead matters end to end per the standard EDRM model.
• Superior analytical, problem-solving, project management and communication skills.
• Experience supervising technical staff, allocating work and reviewing outputs.
• Ability to scope work, manage competing priorities and deliver on time within budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day delivery of large scale and complex document reviews in Relativity, including imports, auditing, analytics, modelling and data exports.
• Manage eDiscovery processing workflows, including data collection, transfers, processing, QC and issue resolution.
• Lead use of Relativity aiR and other AI tools, including workflow design, validation and QA.
• Design and improve best practice workflows for large reviews, investigations and data rooms.
• Advise legal teams on setup and use of Harvey vaults and other tech-enabled workflows.
• Provide technical support for Courts/Commissions/Inquiries and coordinate delivery.
• Manage due diligence AI tools, virtual data rooms and deal rooms with quality control and stakeholder comms.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery via data analysis, scripting, automation and integrations.
