Job summary

Fortescue’s Leadership Coach opportunities are open for expressions of interest, with FIFO rosters for the Eliwana mine sites. The Principal Leadership Coach will mentor frontline Supervisors, Superintendents and emerging leaders to foster a high‑performance culture, safety excellence and operational efficiency across our sites.

We seek leaders with extensive mining experience, strong coaching abilities and the capacity to engage diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive operational leadership experience in mining, including FIFO environments.
• Experience mentoring frontline leaders in operational settings.
• Strong understanding of leadership, team dynamics and performance management.
• Proven ability to facilitate coaching conversations and workshops.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify leadership capability gaps.
• Design customised coaching plans to strengthen communication, team management and conflict resolution.
• Reinforce Fortescue’s strategic direction and Light on the Hill.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of coaching interventions.
• Deliver one‑on‑one and group coaching sessions to Supervisors, Coordinators and/or Superintendents.
• Support Fortescue Frontline, a key component of Fortescue’s Leadership Academy.
• Provide relevant reporting and feedback to key stakeholders.
