Job summary

Office of the Auditor General (OAG) is seeking an Associate Director in Information Systems Audit to lead audits of WA’s critical digital systems and provide independent assurance that informs Parliament and the public.

You will guide audit teams through complex technical issues, review key judgements, and support high-quality reporting while focusing on information security, data governance and emerging technology risks affecting the WA public sector.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience conducting audits or assessments of information technology, systems governance and cyber security.
• Proven ability to lead technical or professional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong judgement in assessing evidence, risks, controls and audit findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of information systems, cyber security, cloud services, identity and access management, system implementations, data governance and business continuity.
• Guide audit teams through complex technical issues and review key judgements.
• Support high-quality reporting and enable better decision-making across government.
