Job summary

IT Alliance Australia on behalf of a Federal Government client seeks a Lead ICT Security Assessor in Canberra. The role requires senior expertise in security assessments and governance with a focus on delivering compliant ICT security programs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience across security architecture, risk management, and ISM/PSPF regulations, and will lead independent ICT security assessments, assurance reviews, and audits in a complex government environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a security specialist across security architecture, risk management, network security or security operations.
• Current IRAP certification is highly desirable.
• Experience ensuring technical systems adhere to Essential Eight, ISM and PSPF frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience planning and conducting independent ICT security assessments, assurance reviews, audits, or compliance assessments of ICT systems and services.
