Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an ICT Lead to shape and operate the ICT function across multiple project sites in Western Australia, starting Alkimos. You will lead delivery of secure, reliable technology solutions aligned with project lifecycles.

This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strong stakeholder engagement, governance, and budget management to optimise service delivery and enable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ ICT support and infrastructure management experience.
• Experience across multi-site environments and project deployments.
• Strong governance, cybersecurity, risk and compliance knowledge.
• Ability to manage budgets, forecasting, procurement and vendors.
• Excellent stakeholder communication at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, delivery and optimisation of ICT infrastructure, systems, and support across multiple project sites.
• Manage site mobilisations and demobilisations, including networks, communications systems, security technologies, and end‑user computing solutions.
• Develop and manage ICT budgets, forecasts, procurement activities, and vendor relationships to ensure cost‑effective and high‑performing technology outcomes.
• Act as the primary ICT point of contact for operational teams and senior stakeholders, providing technical leadership, strategic advice, and regular project updates.
• Ensure ICT services meet cybersecurity, governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements while effectively managing risk, business continuity, and service performance.
• Contribute to the growth and maturity of the ICT function through process improvement, standardisation, and the implementation of best‑practice service delivery frameworks.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Manager, this is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a growing ICT function supporting a portfolio of project sites across their full lifecycle, from mobilisation through to operations and demobilisation.

You will play a critical role in delivering reliable, secure, and business-focused technology solutions, combining hands‑on technical expertise with strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen.

As the ICT lead, you will be responsible for ensuring technology services effectively support operational outcomes, while driving continuous improvement, service excellence, and value for the business.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, establish best‑practice processes, and build strong partnerships across both project and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Competencies

• Minimum five years’ experience in ICT support and infrastructure management within a complex, multi‑site environment.
• Strong technical expertise across ICT infrastructure, networking, and operational technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects, implementations, and site deployments.
• Experience managing Service Desk operations and ticketing systems.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation.
• Proven experience managing ICT budgets, forecasting, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of ICT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
