Job summary

Ge Vernova seeks a Primary System Engineer to assure correct performance of HV/MV substation design works, within budget, deadlines and quality. You will plan activities, oversee execution, and prepare documentation for procurement, manufacturing and site erection in line with customer specs and internal standards.

You will lead design discussions, coordinate with teams, and manage subcontractors while ensuring safe, compliant operations and active project risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering with major in electrical engineering.
• 4–5 years' experience in AC substation engineering (design, calculation, HV equipment selection, site testing).
• Experience leading engineering activities is a plus.
• Travel onsite up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Designing and integrating HV & MV AIS and GIS Substation and Power Generation components to standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for layout implementation and design calculations.
• Develop design specifications and support procurement activities.
• Manage project strategies, risks, and customer relationships for delivery.
• Site inspections, supervision, and witness factory testing; EHS leadership.
