Job summary

EOS Defence Systems is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead the HSEQ Team and maintain the QMS across the business unit. You will drive compliance, support environmental and safety integration, and advance quality systems toward potential AS9100 certification if required.

The role is a 12-month full-time fixed-term position based at Hume, Canberra, with responsibilities spanning supplier, production, and customer quality interfaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Recognised qualification in applicable field of study.
• Evidence of leading quality initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to develop and maintain a compliant management system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive control over EOS Defence Systems QMS and ensure contract requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain world-class Quality Organization aligned with global strategy.
• Integrate environmental and safety considerations into an Integrated Management System.
• Maintain KPI reporting and drive continual improvement across functions.
• Develop staff in Root Cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier/product quality.
• Foster cross-functional alignment to support profitability and compliance goals.
