Job summary

Fastform Group Australia is seeking skilled Formwork Carpenters to work on major construction projects, including high-rise developments. The role requires AQF certs and 3+ years of experience in formwork, with supervisory duties for apprentices.

The position is full time (38 hours per week) with overtime as necessary and a salary range of $80,000–$100,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on skill and experience.

Qualifications

• AQF certificate III minimum with at least 2 years on-the-job training.
• If not, commensurate on-the-job training acceptable with evidence.
• At least 3 years’ proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter on major projects.

Responsibilities

• Erect and dismantle formwork using frames, jacks, braces and props.
• Erect and strip formwork to form columns, beams, slabs, walls and stairs.
• Ensure formwork works comply with designs and documentation.
• Ensure tools, plant and equipment are available and functioning.
• Adhere to safety policy and Work Health and Safety requirements.
• Conduct new worker orientation and distribute PPE and tools.
• Follow up task allocation to workers each morning and supervise apprentices.
