Job summary

ADL Group Australia seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect – Cryptographic Services to lead enterprise PKI, HSM and cryptographic architecture. You will shape target-state architectures, trust models and security controls, driving governance, policies and operating models across divisions.

The role requires senior technical leadership in complex environments, capability assessments, and roadmaps, with a focus on secure delivery and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience with PKI, HSM, cryptographic services and key management.
• Proven ability to develop security governance, policies and operating models.
• Senior technical leadership in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering technology through transition to operations and readiness.
• NV1 security clearance.
• Experience in Australian Government/Defence or high-assurance settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise PKI, HSM and cryptographic architecture.
• Develop target-state architectures, trust models and security controls.
• Conduct capability assessments, gap analysis and roadmap development.
• Develop PKI/cryptographic policies, standards, procedures and operating models.
• Lead secure delivery, transition to operations and continual improvement.
• Provide senior technical advice across architecture, engineering, operations and business teams.
• Manage security risks, dependencies and operational resilience.
• Mentor teams and support specialist knowledge transfer.
