Doveton College, operating under the Department of Education Victoria, seeks an experienced Early Childhood Educator to lead planning and delivery of high-quality programs for very young children in the Early Childhood Centre. You will mentor educators and partner with families to support wellbeing and development.

The role requires a degree in Early Childhood, strong communicational skills, cultural competence and a commitment to trauma-informed practice within a supportive team and community

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary Degree qualification in Early Childhood is mandated for this position.
• Experience working with children aged 0–6 years is required.
• Registration or eligibility to register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching is expected.

Responsabilités

• Develop, record and maintain documentation as specified in the NQF for individual children based on regular observations.
• Provide a healthy, safe and welcoming environment and ensure that children are supervised at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the early childhood team to address the needs of families and children.
