Job summary

Marsden Park Education and Care is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Lead Educator for a full-time, permanent role at Marsden Park NSW. You will deliver high-quality educational programs in line with EYLF and NQS, while fostering positive outcomes for children.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration with families and staff, and commitment to continuous quality improvement within a supportive, professional team environment.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management qualifications (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
• Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organisational, leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate educational programs that support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Observe, assess and document children's learning and progress.
• Create safe, inclusive, stimulating and engaging learning environments.
• Build positive, respectful and collaborative relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support and mentor educators to implement high-quality educational practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation, observations and children's records.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the service's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ongoing quality practices.
