Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking a seasoned Dozer supervisor for a DIDO role with camp accommodation and meals supplied for those living outside Moranbah. The position features a 7/7 rotating roster with 12-hour days and requires leading a team of dozer operators on a coal stockpile.

The ideal candidate will have RII mining competencies, recent dozer experience on stockpiles, and a background in supervision, along with current Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 to ensure safety excellence

Qualifications

RII's or mining competencies signed off within the last 5 years.
Previous experience in the operation of Dozers, including on stockpiles.
Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisor role.
Current Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of dozer operators on a coal stockpile and step into supervisory duties as required.
Ensure effective operation of plant to reduce cycle times and prevent unnecessary maintenance.
Maintain a safe work environment and be committed to adhering and promoting a strong safety culture.
Comply with site Safety & health Management System policies, procedures, and work practices.
Communicate with operators and other personnel to coordinate operations.
Re-fuelling and general machine inspections.
Adherence to all site and company policies and procedures.
