Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a Grade 2 Dietitian to join the Wellness Clinic in Frankston, Victoria. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver dietetic services for inpatients and community clients within the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.

You will provide scientific nutrition information, translate it into practical advice, and lead education for consumers and carers. Leadership includes supervision of students and staff, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Member or eligible for Dietitians Australia and APD program.
• Member or eligible for Accredited Practising Dietitian program.
• Experience with clients living with mental illness in hospital or community settings.
• Ability to supervise students, Grade 1 staff and support professional competence.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide dietetic services for inpatient and community consumers within Peninsula Health's Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
• Deliver individual consultations and facilitate group programs.
• Lead and develop clinical expertise, participate in quality and research activities.
• Supervise staff and students and contribute to clinical governance.
