Job summary

Australian Taxation Office is seeking highly motivated Data Analysts to join our Compliance Engagement Group, Frontline Operations and Smarter Data teams. As an EL1 Data Analyst, you will apply data analysis, modelling techniques and business knowledge to address business problems and support data-driven decision making.

You will develop complex data analytic solutions and respond to ad hoc data requests to support operations and delivery of business outcomes.

We are seeking highly motivated and innovative Data Analysts to join our Compliance Engagement Group, Frontline Operations and Smarter Data business areas.

As a (EL 1) Data Analyst, you will use your expertise in data analysis, modelling techniques, and business knowledge to address business problems and support data driven decision making.

You will be responsible for developing complex data analytic solutions and responding to ad hoc requests for data and information to support the operation and delivery of business outcomes.

You will coordinate the development and implementation of technical data solutions by applying analytic techniques and methods.

You will be highly skilled in using a variety of tools, languages and technical knowledge to research, extract, analyse and interpret data and results with a strong commitment to quality assurance, re-usability and curation of data sources and solutions.

You may be required to lead and manage a team, being responsible for reviewing the quality of their work.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Penrith, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
