Tablelands Regional Council is seeking a knowledgeable Lead Compliance Advisor to oversee the compliance functions for water, wastewater and waste infrastructure in Tolga. The role includes supervising staff, setting priorities and delivering specialist regulatory advice to management and Council.

Our Tolga team is looking for a knowledgeable & motivated individual to join our Water & Waste team as a full-time Lead Compliance Advisor until Friday 5 November 2027.
This position is required to effectively oversee and manage the Compliance functions of Council operations relating to water, wastewater and waste infrastructure within the conditions imposed by the Environmental Authority and statutory approvals issued by the relevant State Government agencies and supervise compliance and administration staff in the section.
The position exercises a degree of autonomy and works under limited direction. The role requires supervision of and setting outcomes for water and waste staff, establishing priorities and monitoring workflows in areas of responsibility. This position provides specialist advice to management and Council on matters of regulatory compliance, environmental and drinking water quality management as well as dam safety.
