Job summary

pitt&sherry in Australia is seeking a senior civil engineer to lead design delivery on energy, development and infrastructure projects. You will design, review and coordinate civil packages and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

With 8–15 years of experience and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to high-quality outcomes while enjoying flexible working, professional development and accreditation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8-15 years' experience in civil engineering design and project delivery.
• Experience on earthworks, roads, drainage and utilities.
• Strong technical skills in civil design, coordination and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Work on a diverse range of civil engineering projects, including access roads, bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, utilities coordination and pavements.
• Contribute to major projects across energy, renewable energy, resources, water, transport and civic sectors across Australia.
• Take ownership of design packages and coordinate delivery, while mentoring other engineers and designers.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, reports and other technical documentation.
• Build strong client relationships and work with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply quality, safety and project requirements throughout the design process.
• Pursue professional accreditation pathways and ongoing development.
• Leverage experience and engineering judgement to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
