Job summary

Linfox Armaguard Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead a proactive, high-performing team across Armoured and Non-Armoured operations in Queensland. You will oversee scheduling, resource planning and transport activities, driving profitability, fleet utilisation and customer outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have proven logistics leadership, strong safety and compliance knowledge, and experience with budgets, performance reporting and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing logistics or transport operations.
• Strong leadership experience in a service-driven operational environment.
• Experience managing budgets, operational reporting and financial performance.
• Experience handling employee relations with unionised workforces.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of workplace legislation, WHS requirements, and compliance frameworks.
• Well-developed communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading the efficient and profitable performance of the transport operation.
• Maximising fleet utilisation, operational productivity and revenue performance.
• Managing all run scheduling and distribution resources to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
• Ensuring compliance with security, firearms, licensing, WHS and legislative requirements.
• Effectively managing workplace injury cases and Return-to-Work programs.
• Producing budgets, resource plans and performance reporting.
• Monitoring operational risk and implementing risk management strategies.
• Building partnerships across Logistics, Cash Processing and Administration teams.
• Developing capable and engaged teams through coaching and succession planning.
• Managing customer relationships and resolving operational issues promptly.
