Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst with strong infrastructure delivery experience to lead complex technology initiatives and drive business outcomes across a diverse portfolio.

You will guide discovery to implementation, shaping requirements, managing prioritisation, and delivering value-driven solutions within an environment of ambiguity and strategic priorities. This is a 12-month contract role.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise delivering BA for large-scale Infrastructure Transformation/Migration programs.
• Strong technical BA experience in Infrastructure domain.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex requirements across multiple systems/domains.
• Leading backlog refinement, prioritisation, grooming and estimation across streams.
• Assessing dependencies, delivery constraints and prioritising roadmaps.
• Influencing stakeholders to align requirements with organisational objectives.
• Experience with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders across RBI and external partners.
• Energetic strategic thinker with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead across business analysis practice and guide delivery teams through discovery and implementation.
• Ensure opportunities are translated into well-defined, prioritised and executable work.
• Shape requirements from high-level concepts into practical solutions.
• Drive business process analysis, future-state design and impact assessments.
• Coordinate with multiple streams to align delivery with roadmaps.
