• Two years' post-admission experience through to Senior Associate in front-end construction and infrastructure within a mid to large firm.
• Strong technical drafting and negotiation skills.
• Commercial mindset and genuine interest in construction and infrastructure sector.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive approach and desire to take ownership of your work.
• For senior candidates, experience supervising junior lawyers and contributing to client development is highly regarded.

The Role

McCullough Robertson's Construction and Infrastructure group is recognised for guiding clients through every stage of the project lifecycle. Working as a genuine extension of our clients' teams, we provide practical, commercially focused advice on major developments across Australia.

Our practice advises on a diverse range of projects spanning mining and energy infrastructure, renewable energy, utilities, transport, aviation, ports and major commercial, industrial and social infrastructure developments.

As our Sydney practice continues to grow, we have several exciting opportunities available to join the team of one of our newly promoted partners. With a strong pipeline of high-quality work, you'll advise on a broad range of front-end construction and infrastructure matters, including project agreements, design and construct contracts, procurement documentation, facilities management agreements and standing offer arrangements.

Working with developers, contractors and major project participants, you'll draft and negotiate construction and procurement contracts, advise on contract administration and project delivery issues, and provide strategic, commercially focused advice across the lifecycle of significant projects.

About You

We are interested in lawyers from two years' post-admission experience through to Senior Associate who have experience in front-end construction and infrastructure within a mid to large sized firm.
