Job summary

MinterEllison, Sydney's leading law and consulting firm, invites applications for a property Lawyer or Associate to join our award-winning Sydney Real Estate team.

You will expand your legal knowledge while building strong client relationships and gaining exposure to the full real estate lifecycle, including development, leasing, sale and acquisition of commercial, industrial, residential, and retail properties.

Your Role

A great opportunity exists for a property Lawyer or Associate to join our award winning, market leading Sydney Real Estate team. As well as building your legal knowledge, you will develop strong client relationships, deepen your understanding of, and involvement in, the real estate industry across the entire real estate life cycle and gain exposure to the development, leasing, sale, and acquisition of commercial, industrial, residential, and retail developments

• real estate transactions across all asset classes
• leasing of commercial, industrial, and retail property
• development of all types of real estate assets, including large scale residential communities
• general property or commercial advice work

Our Team

The Sydney Real Estate team is led by Partners Alice Langham, Julie Purbrick, Rachel McNaught, Owen Kiely, Joanne Moore and Jakob Paartalu. The team offers a comprehensive range of property-related legal services for developers, investors, owners, landlords, property fund managers, listed property trusts and government.

In this role you will work closely with partners Alice Langham, Julie Purbrick, Rachel McNaught and Joanne Moore and their teams, who are sought after for their experience in advising on large and complex real estate and hotel transactions and developments. There will also be close contact with other leading lawyers working in the broader national real estate team and other specialist areas across the firm. The team's focus is on capital transactions, property development including title structuring and complex leasing and delivering an end-to-end solution to national and international industry-leading real estate and hotel owners, developers, financiers and government clients, including clients such as Dexus, EVT, Gurner Group, Lendlease, Mirvac, Salter Brothers and Stockland.
