Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Laundry Team Leader to direct the department’s operations on shift, ensure quality control and training, and uphold Hilton policies. You will supervise team members, manage equipment and chemicals, and assist guests with urgent laundry requests while maintaining linen quality.

This hands-on role requires at least two years in commercial laundry and strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a commercial laundry environment.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Good communication, organizational and coordination skills.
• Strong team player.
• Able to maintain excellent relations with team members.
• Able to work under physical pressure.
• Knowledgeable of all areas in the laundry operation such as washing, spotting, starching, dry-cleaning, pressing and laundry machine operation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee laundry department operations during shift.
• Inspect area for productive methods and procedures.
• Assist guests with urgent laundry requests.
• Ensure all items are treated carefully to minimize damage.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment operation and safety.
• Monitor chemicals and ordering to control costs.
• Maintain linen and uniform quality.
• Report faulty equipment to Laundry Manager/Engineering.
• Train team members and conduct training meetings.
• Record production standards and training methods.
