ACOS Personnel on the Gold Coast seeks an experienced Laser Therapist to perform safe laser tattoo removal using Candela PicoWay® technology. You will consult with clients, explain treatment expectations and aftercare, and maintain records in a busy Mermaid Waters studio. A Queensland Radiation Licence and 6 months of hands-on laser experience are essential; citizenship or permanent residency is required. Hours and roster support ongoing.

We are looking for an experienced Laser Therapist with a current Queensland Radiation Licence (essential) to join a well-established tattoo removal studio in Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast.

You must be confident working with clients in a professional treatment environment. What matters most is that you have genuine laser experience, hold the relevant licence, understand the importance of safe treatment practices, and are confident working directly with clients.

Your new varied role!

As a Laser Therapist, you will provide safe, professional laser tattoo removal treatments while creating a positive and supportive experience for every client, including:

Performing laser tattoo removal treatments using Candela PicoWay® technology

Following strict laser safety, treatment and infection-control procedures

Consulting with clients and clearly explaining the tattoo removal process, treatment expectations and aftercare

Providing honest and realistic information around treatment outcomes

Maintaining accurate and detailed client treatment records

Building trust and strong relationships with clients throughout their treatment journey

Maintaining treatment rooms, laser equipment and general studio presentation

Following established treatment protocols and procedures

Working as part of a professional and supportive studio team

Completing ongoing training to further develop your laser and tattoo removal knowledge

Minimum 6 months of hands-on laser treatment experience

Current Queensland Radiation Licence (required)

Australian citizenship or permanent residency

Can provide clear aftercare advice and manage client expectations

Is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work

Is comfortable working in a busy studio environment

Is genuinely interested in developing their expertise in laser tattoo removal

Up to $36 per hour + Super + 133% Saturday rates + Commission

Choose from permanent full-time, permanent part-time or casual employment

Tuesday to Saturday roster (Sundays and Mondays off)

Ongoing training and support

Established Mermaid Waters studio and professional working environment

Hours

Full-time covers all days below. Part-time and casual days are by agreement.

Tuesday: 9:45am – 6:15pm

Thursday: 10:45-7:15pm or 12 midday – 7pm

Friday: 9:45am – 5:15pm

Saturday: 8:45am – 4:15pm
