Job summary

Profile Landscapes is seeking a qualified Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the maintenance of large-scale indoor and outdoor gardens and commercial landscape maintenance works.

Key duties include pruning, weeding, rubbish removal, and operating a Ride on Mower, while ensuring safe tool and machinery use. You will manage paperwork for monthly reporting and drive continuous improvements in standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in soft landscaping and commercial maintenance.
• Strong leadership background and ability to direct staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good knowledge of tools and machinery used in landscape maintenance.
• Extensive plant, turf and garden knowledge.
• Certificate in Horticulture or Landscape Maintenance is a bonus.
• Able to drive a manual vehicle and tow a trailer.

Responsibilities

Job description

Profile Landscapes is looking for a qualified Landscape Maintenance Team Leader to complement our growing team.

This position is an integral role within our company. The applicant will be responsible for the maintenance of a large scale indoor and outdoor garden and commercial landscape maintenance works.

Responsibilities:

Carry out maintenance works as required including pruning, weeding, leaf & rubbish removal.

Use a Ride on Mower.

Maintain efficient and safe usage of all tools & machinery on site.

Complete relevant company paperwork and bookkeeping, submitting to the office for processing monthly.

Proactively showing initiative with ideas, problem solving, amendments and providing regular updates.

Ensure the gardens are completed to our high standards & in an efficient and timely manner.

Comply to company policy in regard to WH&S, Quality Control and Environmental Systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3-5 years experience in soft landscaping, garden upgrades & commercial landscape maintenance and able to work independently.

Knowledge of pest and disease identification.

Strong background and work experience in leading staff.

Professional presentation, positive attitude, punctual & reliable.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong knowledge and use of all relevant tools & machines utilised within the landscape maintenance industry.

Extensive plant, turf and garden knowledge.

Cert III/IV in Horticulture or Landscape Maintenance a bonus.

Above to drive a manual vehicle and tow a trailer.
