Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Landscape Gardening Assistant to support commercial and residential landscaping and general labour across varied sites. You’ll help with site prep, digging, wheelbarrowing, lifting materials and assisting qualified tradespeople on diverse projects.

The role offers a minimum of $35.11 per hour with 11.5% superannuation, a $22 daily travel allowance and regular weekly pay. Immediate start with ongoing casual assignments and potential pathways into permanent

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport are preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials and digging/trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking before and after tasks.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople on site.
• General labouring duties as required.
