Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Landscape Gardening Assistant to support busy landscaping and construction sites. The role offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for ongoing casual assignments with reputable employers.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months of general labouring experience, a Construction White Card, a valid driver's licence and reliable transport. This is physical work with strong teamwork and a path toward permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Wheelbarrowing materials.
• Digging and trenching.
• Lifting and carrying materials.
• Packing and stacking.
• Assembling products.
• Assisting qualified tradespeople.
• General labouring duties as required.
