Job summary

Randstad Australia is seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to lead commercial landscaping projects from tender stage through to practical completion in Adelaide. You will own pricing, budgets, procurement, and direct site supervisors to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial landscape estimating.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial landscape project management in Australia.
• Strong understanding of civil works, irrigation, drainage, paving, structures, planting and softscape installation.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Construction & Estimating: oversee pricing and tendering.
• Tender Management: review documents, conduct site inspections and identify risks.
• Detailed Pricing: quantify take-offs from drawings and specifications.
• Procurement & Negotiations: obtain competitive subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Methodology & Scheduling: develop construction methodologies and project programs.
• Tender Submissions: collaborate with tender writer and client interviews.
• End-to-End Management: procure, order materials, and schedule site labour.
• Site & Subcontractor Oversight: supervise trades and ensure safety and quality.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: main contact for clients and site meetings.
• Financial & Contract Admin: manage budgets, cash flow, variations, progress claims, final accounts.
