Rolling Acres Landscaping is offering a full-time Landscape Construction Apprenticeship in New South Wales. You will work with experienced professionals, gaining practical on-the-job training and theoretical knowledge to build a foundation for a rewarding career in landscape construction.

You will assist with installing features, preparing sites, operating equipment, and learning layout and materials applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of landscape features under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain construction sites, ensuring health and safety standards.
• Operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with layout measurements and marking out designs.
• Mix and apply concrete, mortar and other materials.
• Assist with plant selection, planting and garden establishment.
• Attend off-the-job training components of your apprenticeship.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure specifications are met.
• Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

Job description

Rolling Acres Landscaping is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Landscape Construction Apprentices to join our growing team. This is a full-time apprenticeship opportunity that will provide you with comprehensive on-the-job training and mentorship in all aspects of landscape construction. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, developing practical skills and theoretical knowledge that will set the foundation for a rewarding career in the landscape construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the installation of landscape features including paving, decking, fencing, and garden beds under the guidance of experienced team members
• Preparing and maintaining construction sites, including site cleanup, tool management, and ensuring health and safety standards are met
• Operating and learning to use landscaping equipment and machinery safely and effectively
• Measuring, marking out and assisting with the layout of landscape designs
• Mixing and applying landscaping materials such as concrete, mortar, and other compounds
• Assisting with plant selection, planting and garden establishment work
• Attending and completing required off-the-job training components of your apprenticeship
• Communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met
• Contributing to maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all team members
