Job summary

Langs Building Supplies is seeking labourers for the fabrication department at our Yatala location. The role is 38 hours per week, with early starts from Monday to Thursday and a Friday finish.

You will assemble frames for houses and units, operate frame assembler equipment, and work safely within a supportive team. Candidates should be mechanically minded, able to read simple drawings, and have experience with hand tools (nail guns).

Qualifications

• Previous experience using hand tools - Nail guns in particular.
• Read simple drawings.
• Ideally from assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanically minded.
• Must be fit and able to lift 20kgs.
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills.

We are seeking labourers within our fabrication department based at our Yatala location.The ideal candidates will be self-motivated and hard-working people. The role is 38 hrs a week, Monday to Thursday 5:00am to 1:30pm Friday 05:00am to 11:00am

About the Role:

• Assembling frames for houses/units.
• Frame assemblers and console operators
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Use hand tools such as nail guns & screw guns
• Follow safe working standards and procedures

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience using hand tools - Nail guns in particular
• Read simple drawings
• Ideally from assembly and/or manufacturing environment
