Job summary

Workforce International is seeking a reliable Traffic Controller/Labourer to join a valued government client. This role offers consistent hours, a 9-day fortnight, with potential overtime, weekend and night work, fostering hands-on outdoor work and growth within a government environment.

Responsibilities include vehicle prep, loading/unloading, vehicle escort duties, site safety, and general labour across yards and sites, in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• Traffic Control Ticket (essential).
• Current Car Licence (essential).
• Workers on Foot (essential).
• Truck Licence (preferred).
• Forklift Licence (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and maintain vehicles to a high standard.
• Assist with the safe loading and unloading of trucks.
• Operate vans and undertake vehicle escort duties as required.
• Safely transport vehicles to and from designated work sites.
• Complete a variety of general labouring and manual handling tasks.
• Carry out traffic control activities while maintaining a strong focus on site safety.
• Assist with day-to-day operations across the yard and work sites, working collaboratively with the wider team.
