Job summary

CBCity is offering a permanent full-time Labourer role within the Canterbury Bankstown area, focused on road construction, maintenance of footpaths and kerbs, drainage works and related labouring tasks.

The role requires a valid Class C license and WHS White card, with experience in concrete works and civil road construction. You will operate basic plant and machinery and contribute to productive, safe site practices while supporting the supervisor’s project needs.

Qualifications

• Current Class C Drivers Licence
• WHS White card
• Demonstrated ability in construction and or concrete works
• Experience in laying concrete
• Knowledge of general civil construction and or road works

Responsibilities

• Carry out road construction, maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out footpath, kerb and gutter construction and maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out drainage construction and maintenance labouring
• Operate basic plant and machinery
• Removal of rubbish and debris
• Maximise productivity through current industry best practices
• Maintain and complete accurate records of works undertaken as requested by your supervisor
• Undertake on-the-job training and other duties as directed by your supervisor

The Role

A rewarding opportunity has presented itself for a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Labourer. In this role you work as part of a team that carries out road construction and maintenance as well as the upkeep of foot paths and kerbs.

• This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Carry out road construction, maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out footpath, kerb and gutter construction and maintenance labouring duties
• Carry out drainage construction and maintenance labouring
• Operate basic plant and machinery

You Will Have

The salary range for this opportunity starts at $58,761 (Grade A, Step 1) + AWACA + 12% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience
