Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is seeking a Labourer & Water Cart Operator for a Redbank Plains civil and landscaping project. The role combines water cart operation with hands-on labour and pathway to ongoing work on future projects.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, on a 6+ month assignment with potential for permanency for reliable workers. White Card and a valid licence are required, with a strong work ethic and team focus.

• Water truck/cart operating experience is required.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday.

Our client is currently seeking a reliable Labourer & Water Cart Operator to join their team on a long-term civil and landscaping project based in Redbank Plains.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of water cart operation and hands-on civil/landscape labouring, with the potential for ongoing work on future projects and a pathway to a full-time permanent position for the right person.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a water truck/cart on site.
• Spotting and assisting plant operators.
• Assisting with hardscape works and general site preparation.
• Transitioning into softscape and landscaping duties as the project progresses.
• General site clean-up, manual handling and labour-intensive tasks.
• Supporting the broader site team as required.
• Following all site safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• White Card - essential.
• Previous experience in civil construction and/or landscape labouring.
• Water truck/cart operating experience is required.
• Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
• A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck into all aspects of the job.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake labour-intensive duties when required.
• Reliability and commitment to working Monday to Friday each week.
• A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
