Job summary

Agilex Biolabs in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a permanent, full-time Laboratory Support Officer to join the Immunobiology Network. Based at the Royal North Shore Health Hub, you will assist with validation and sample analysis of clinical and pre-clinical specimens in a regulated lab, reporting to the Analytical Team Leader.

You will maintain equipment and stock, assist with basic analytical methods, and support day-to-day tasks with a degree in life sciences preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or equivalent (desirable).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive attitude and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Validate and analyze clinical and pre-clinical samples in a regulated lab.
• Maintain lab equipment and housekeeping per SOPs.
• Manage consumables stock and waste as directed.
• Coordinate sample receipt and shipment.
• Assist with prep of reagents and pooling/aliquoting.
