Job summary

Kmart Group is hiring for a distribution centre team member in Australia. You will work on the sorter, process cartons, and stack products on pallets, with forklift tasks possible. Shifts run between 6am and midnight on alternating rosters.

Aimed candidates have warehouse experience and MHE/Forklift qualifications, with strong safety awareness. The role supports stock availability and site standards, with knowledge of warehouse systems highly regarded.

Our Distribution team

Getting the products we love into the hands of happy customers is what we do best, from the remote countryside to coastal towns and big cities and everywhere in between. As you know, our distribution teams play a big role in our business.

What you’ll be doing

We are looking for mature, enthusiastic, and engaging team members to help us service our store teams and customers effectively. The positions available involve working on the sorter, processing cartons, stacking products on pallets, loading cartons on the conveyor and may include forklift tasks.

As a team member in the DC:

• You will be rostered for alternating shifts between 6am-midnight
• Pay rate - $38.70 per hour
• It is a requirement that all team members are aged 18 years or over to work in the DC

To be successful in this role you’ll:

• Have distribution centre or warehouse experience is preferred
• Experienced MHE drivers and HRW (LF) holders are encouraged to apply
• Follow safety guidelines and directions to protect our teams
• Maintain site standards and support in stock availability
• Technical knowledge of warehouse systems is highly regarded

You should note that these positions require:

• Repetitive lifting of ranges between 1kg to 20kg
• Repetitive bending and squatting
