CraigCare Maylands WA Home invites a motivated Kitchen Hand to join our hospitality team, helping deliver nutritious and enjoyable meals to residents in a supportive aged-care setting.

The role requires previous kitchen or food service experience, a Food Safety Certificate if possible, and flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends. Join a friendly team that values safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, hospitality, or food service.
• Knowledge of food safety practices; Food Safety Certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and meal service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hygienic kitchen environment.
• Support the monitoring and recording of Food Safety Program requirements.
• Complete cleaning and sanitisation tasks per CraigCare standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional resident service.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Hand at Maylands WA Home to join our dedicated hospitality team and help create a positive dining experience for our residents.

About You:

• Previous kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience
• Sound knowledge of food safety practices (Food Safety Certificate preferred)
• Positive, team-focused, and customer-service oriented
• Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude
• Flexible to work across a rotating roster, including weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, presentation, and meal service
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment
• Support the monitoring and recording of Food Safety Program requirements
• Complete cleaning and sanitisation tasks in accordance with food safety and CraigCare standards

• Police check clearance (or willing to obtain)
