HR Partners in Australia is seeking a Kitchen Hand to support a major state government department in Wacol. The role offers ongoing hours with a direct 3-month pathway to permanent or long-term casual employment.

You will assist with basic food preparation, dishwashing, and maintain kitchen hygiene and safety, with a pay rate of $38.40 per hour plus super, paid weekly, and weekday/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check) is mandatory.
• Previous experience as Kitchen Hand or Catering Assistant in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene practices and WHS standards.

Responsabilités

• Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation, plating, and meal portioning.
• Operating commercial dishwashers, pot washing, and maintaining kitchen sanitation standards.
• Storing incoming food deliveries and maintaining clean, organised cold/dry storage areas.
