Job summary

Kitchens U Build in Australia is seeking a hands-on cabinet installer with experience in kitchens, laundries and wardrobes. Reporting to the Installation Manager, you will handle installations, check measures from plans, and carry warranty and service work directly with customers.

You will visit customer homes, maintain high workmanship and service standards, and manage time to meet warranty timeframes. A minimum of three years’ experience and strong cabinetry knowledge are required; you should

Qualifications

• At least three years' experience in kitchen installation, cabinet making or a similar industry.
• Strong cabinetry and installation knowledge.
• Experience completing accurate site and check measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good time-management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily tasks without supervision.
• Ability to work efficiently within set timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assembling specialized cabinets and units according to order specifications.
• Completing installations of kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and other cabinetry when required.
• Completing accurate check measures from plans and elevations.
• Attending customers homes to assess and complete warranty and service work.
• Monitoring warranty bookings and completing works within the required timeframes.
• Providing progress updates on outstanding warranty claims.
• Liaising with the Installation Manager to ensure matters are handled promptly and efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with customers regarding warranty and installation matters.
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
