Job summary

Ingenia Communities Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team across our Australian sites. You will support front-of-house service, engage with guests and residents, and help maintain safety, cleanliness, and presentation in dining areas.

This role offers PT/FT/Casual hours with flexible scheduling and generally supportive team culture. We value teamwork, initiative, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role with strong customer service.
  • RSA/RCG accreditation (if applicable) preferred.
  • Able to lift and stand for extended periods and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service: create a positive front-of-house atmosphere and handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Maintain standards and compliance: follow safety, security, and RSA/RCG regulations; uphold food quality and presentation.
  • Manage stock and minimize waste: receive/inspect produce, minimize waste, ensure items are used efficiently.
  • Cleaning and sanitation: keep shop, kitchen, and dining areas clean and hygienic.
  • Chemical safety: handle approved chemicals safely, follow MSDS guidelines and use PPE.

  • Chemical Safety: Handle approved chemicals safely, follow MSDS guidelines, and use correct PPE for all cleaning tasks.

  • Physical Capability: You’re comfortable with frequent lifting, standing, and operating kitchen/bar equipment, while using PPE and following safety procedures.
